West Essex’s Tricky Tray fundraiser for the April 2021 prom kicked juniors and their families up and out of bed this past Sunday. Students helped hand out prizes to cars that drove up to them for two hours at a time while maintaining social distancing. Despite the distance, a great sense of unity between parents, administration, and students had shown itself at the event’s success. Teamwork allowed for a hefty $15,000 being raised.

I want to especially thank all the parents that gave their time and hard work to make it such a success,” Class of 2022 supervisor Cyndy McDonough said. “I also want to thank the administration for working with us to make it happen with all CDC restrictions that we needed to have in place.”
