COVID-19 has lead the world to a standstill as it infects thousands of people, including some of the biggest athletes in the world.

COVID-19 has lead the world to a standstill as it infects thousands of people, including some of the biggest athletes in the world.

As the numbers for COVID-19 continue to skyrocket around the world, the virus shows no mercy for anybody, including professional athletes and coaches. The Wire has composed a comprehensive list of players and coaches that have tested positive for COVID-19. 

NBA

Current status on 19-20 season: Suspended indefinitely

  1. Rudy Gobert, Utah Jazz
  2. Donovan Mitchell, Utah Jazz
  3. Christian Wood, Detroit Pistons
  4. Marcus Smart, Boston Celtics
  5. Kevin Durant, Brooklyn Nets
  6. Three unnamed Brooklyn Nets players
  7. Two unnamed Los Angeles Lakers players
  8. Unnamed Pistons player
  9. Three unnamed Philadelphia 76ers players
  10. Unnamed Denver Nuggets player

 

NHL

Current status on 19-20 season: Suspended indefinitely
