As streaming services grow more and more popular, one thing has always been missing, the access to our favorite childhood Disney shows. The newest streaming service on the scene is Disney+ which West Essex students have been loving. It is the first service to have all of the old Disney Channel shows that everyone grew up loving.
The classic shows that were never available on competitors of Disney+ such as “Netflix” or “Hulu”, are now available to members for just $6.99 a month. This price is much cheaper than most other streaming services which caused many people to sign up. The streaming platform holds a range of movies and TV shows for tons of ad-free entertainment.
West Essex students were so excited for the arrival of Disney+. “Disney+ exceeded my expectations,” senior Dom Torrioni said. “It’s very worth the price. It is every Disney lovers dream.”
The streaming service has been receiving an immense amount of praise all over social media as people feel like they are reliving their childhood by watching favorite shows. Members have access to over 500 movies and 7500 episodes of Disney entertainment.
“It honestly just brings back memories of watching these shows for the first time,” Junior Mike Aktas said. “I really love it because it is inexpensive and has such a variety of shows.”
By getting a membership for Disney+, students feel reminiscent of their childhood. Shows that have never been on any other streaming platform are on Disney+, which makes it very exclusive and draws more viewers.
“My favorite show on it is probably ‘Wizards of Waverly Place,’” junior Jamile Rodriguez said. “I have never been able to watch it anywhere else so that’s the main reason I got Disney +.”
