Widespread ignorance to climate change creates dangerous patterns

On Oct. 7, 91 United Nation scientists released a new report detailing what the effects of exceeding the 1.5 Celsius threshold are. Over the last century, the global temperature has already risen an entire degree which has lead to the destruction of the Ozone layer, melting of the ice caps and an increase in dangerous natural disasters like hurricanes. The scariest prospect? If all continues as normal the world has only until 2030 until we reach the that 1.5 Celsius number.
