Famous rapper Post Malone dropped his newest album on April 27, a long awaited day for his fans. We asked students at West Essex High School what they thought of his new songs, their opinions on Post’s sound and how they feel about his decision to release a few singles first.

 

Do you think Post’s new songs sound the same as his old ones?

  • “They all sound the same, but they’re all good.” –junior Denise Domerstad
  • “No, dude seems a little more depressed.” –junior Wes Asche

  • “Not really ,they’re different, I like them better.” –junior Mary Fant

What do you like better: The new songs or the old ones?

Was it smart for Post to drop the singles first before the whole album?

  • “Of course. He dropped it, got popularity from it and made more people listen to his whole album.” –junior Denise Domerstad

  • “Dropping singles gets everyone’s attention and then when he releases the album they buy the whole thing.” –junior Dom Magro
