The holidays are here! As the winter season approaches, Starbucks gets us into the spirit by adding new festive treats and beverages to their menu.
On Nov. 2, the coffee house gave its customers a holiday feel by decorating their stores, serving their drinks in festive cups and holiday drinks hit the market. As this aesthetic and cheery look is only around for a limited time, be sure to have these must-try treats before the holiday season ends.
Starbucks is bringing back four of the beverages from last year’s menu: Peppermint Mocha, Caramel Brulée Latte, Chestnut Praline Latte and Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte. A new drink this year, the Iced Gingerbread Oat Milk Chai, has been added to their menu. It’s a hit for any iced chai lovers looking for a new drink to try. They also serve this cozy drink without ice for anyone who prefers their chai hot. Starbucks is selling five exclusive treats: Gingerbread Loaf, Peppermint Brownie Cake Pop, Cranberry Bliss Bar, Snowman Cookie and Sugar Plum Cheese Danish.
Caramel Brulée Latte is a sweet and delicious drink that can please anyone with its supreme flavors. It is served with just enough of every note that it does not need anything added to it. This latte includes Starbucks Signature Espresso Roast, two shots of espresso, whipped cream, Caramel Brulée topping and sauce and steamed hot two percent milk. All of these options are customizable in every drink. The caramel flavor warms up buyers with or without ice in the cup. If you prefer a frappuccino, they will blend up this combination of ingredients. No matter which way, this latte is a home run for all coffee lovers. Every sip feels more and more like the holidays.
The Iced Sugar Cookie Almond Milk Latte went viral leading up to its return after its success on the menu last winter. This iced latte is the perfect transition for anyone who loves their fall iced drinks and cannot bear to let their iced coffees go. It is considered one of their healthier drinks and is Weight Watchers approved since it has less sugar compared to their other holiday beverages. This drink is based on a Blonde Espresso Roast, two shots of espresso, ice, red and green sprinkle toppings, sugar cookie syrup and almond milk. The latte can also be served hot with the inclusion of steamed milk. Many customers add cold foam on top to make this drink even better for more flavor and a tastier sip.
Although Starbucks did not bring in any new food items, they stuck with the beloved holiday classics. The Gingerbread Loaf is rich in flavor between the taste of icing and ginger spice. This item is a promoter of the holiday staple, the gingerbread cookie. As many people look forward to the release of the Gingerbread Loaf, Starbucks could consider releasing both a gingerbread cookie and a loaf in their 2024 holiday menu.
The holidays only come around once a year, so do not waste time and head over to Starbucks to try their new tasty treats. The West Caldwell, N.J. location has moved and opened a drive-thru in concurrence with the state-of-the-art store. Enjoy your holiday season with a sip of Starbucks this year!
