The apprentice editors and contributors in Journalism II broke out cameras and mics to shine a spotlight on what’s happening in the halls of West Essex for spring 2022. Eliana Rosen, Editor in Chief
Eliana Rosen is an Editor in Chief of the 2023-2024 Wessex Wire. When she isn’t spending time with friends and family, she is probably listening to Taylor Swift and Noah Kahan on repeat. She spends her summers at Camp Ramah in the Poconos, her home away from home.
Francesca Loffredo, Senior Chief News and Features Editor
Francesca Loffredo is a Senior Chief News & Features Editor for the 2022-2023 Wessex Wire. She plays tennis and softball for the West Essex team. Francesca loves hanging out with her friends and family, and spending time at the beach.
Sophia Nicholls, Arts & Culture Editor
Sophia Nicholls is a 2023-2024 Senior Chief Arts and Culture Editor for the Wessex Wire. She likes to spend time with her friends and family. Her favorite artist’s are Harry Styles and Taylor Swift, and her favorite show is “Pretty Little Liars”.
Skye Grimes, Contributor
Skye Grimes is an Apprentice Editor for the 2021-2022 Wessex Wire. She plays soccer for the high school team and on a club team year-round. She enjoys running, lifeguarding at the beach and hanging out with her friends.
Alle Cesare, Correspondent
Alle Cesare is a Correspondent for Journalism II class in the school year 2021-2022. She enjoys playing softball, going down the shore and going to beach. She also loves to do things with her friends and family.
Molly Wolf, Managing Editor
Molly Wolf is a 2023-2024 Managing Editor for the Wessex Wire. When she is not spending time with her friends and family, she is usually scrolling through TikTok or listening to music. Her favorite singer is Taylor Swift and her favorite TV show is "Gilmore Girls."
Lily Minish, News & Features Editor
Lily Minish is a News & Features Editor for the 2022-2023 Wessex Wire. She enjoys spending time with friends and family, going to the beach and traveling. Her favorite shows are “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Gilmore Girls.”
Hailey Cohen, Contributor
Hailey Cohen is a Staff Writer for the 2022-2023 Wessex Wire. She enjoys playing sports, but, more than anything, she loves spending time with her friends. When she has downtime, you can find her binge-watching Netflix or shopping.
Delaney Piccoli, Arts & Culture Editor
Delaney Piccoli is an Arts & Culture Editor for the Wessex Wire. When she isn't scribbling in her notebook (or reading), she is a part of Masquers and the West Essex Concert choir. Whenever the time arises, she convinces her younger siblings to eat her burnt candy attempts.
Ryan Conway, Sports Editor
Ryan is a Sports Editor for the Wessex Wire (Class Of '24) that likes sports and video games. Usually raging about the Mets or Jets, Ryan enjoys bonding with friends and family, and discussing sports with others.
Gabby Angelo, Editor in Chief
Gabrielle Angelo, but you can call her Gabby, is an Editor in Chief for the 2023-2024 Wessex Wire. She enjoys spending time down the shore swimming in the ocean, eating ice cream and watching the sunsets, and loves anything "The Vampire Diaries" related! On the weekends you can find her hanging out with friends and family making core memories.
JJ Rella, Managing Editor
JJ Rella is a 2023-2024 Managing Editor for the Wessex Wire. When he isn't playing baseball he's most likely watching the Yankees game at home. He spends a lot of time watching and following other professional sports too, with his other favorite teams being the Packers and Knicks. He also never takes off his wireless beats headphones, listening to Tyler, The Creator, Drake, Frank Ocean and more on timeless loops.
