Cross country goes the distance

Senior Eli Boshak runs in Oct. 5 cross country meet.

Another season speeds by as cross country finishes a successful Fall as a result of incredible team chemistry. Team bonding was emphasized this year, a factor that propelled them to winning intense meets.

“Not only was our team co-ed unlike most other sports, but our team was small so we were all able to build chemistry as a team because we did everything as one group,” senior captain Daniel Gold said.

Combining the girls and boys into the same practice allowed both teams to push each other.

“Our team this year was very close to each other time wise, and the competition between each other pushed us to beat the other teams,” Gold said.

Girls cross country finished their season 0-9 in the American Division and the boys finished 6-4 in the Liberty Division.
