The Brooklyn Nets are creating a “superteam” and they are looking good to win the NBA Finals.

The NBA regular season is about halfway done and one of the most dominant teams so far has been The Brooklyn Nets. Honestly, I think there is a very high chance that they win the NBA championship.

The Brooklyn Nets have made some substantial moves in the past few years acquiring Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden to form a ‘Big Three”. Durant was sidelined for an entire year after rupturing his achilles but he is back in action this year to help lead the Nets alongside Harden and Irving.

The Nets recently signed Blake Griffin as well which gives them another big player to add to their already stacked roster. There have also been rumors of the Nets trying to make a deal to receive Andre Drummond which would give them another former All-Star to their current four.

So far this season, the Nets longest losing streak is only three games and they have not been at full strength for most of the season due to COVID and some injuries. But in my mind, I don’t think they can lose in a seven game series to any team, even the Lakers with their fraud Lebron James. The Nets have played one game against the defending champion Lakers and defeated them by 11 without Kevin Durant. I can only imagine how much bigger that margin could have been with Durant on the floor.

The expectation is for the Brooklyn Nets to meet the defending champion Los Angeles Lakers and if that happens I don’t think the Lakers can win. Lebron James and Anthony Davis would not be able to contain Durant, Irving, Harden and Griffin. Not to mention, Davis suffered a calf injury last month and has missed the last several games.

“The Nets have three superstars that are basically ungwuardable 1 on 1,” senior Luke Brignola said. “If they are all healthy going into the finals, the Lakers can’t stop the Nets from outscoring them.”

Even if the Lakers do make it all the way, they can maybe win one or two games but there is no way they can beat the Nets in four of seven games. And to be honest, I’m not 100% sure that the Lakers will even make it to the finals, but I am fairly confident that the Brooklyn Nets will have a dominant playoff performance overall.

I know what many of you reading are thinking right now. “Durant is terrible! He needs two other all-stars to beat Lebron!” Well just for your information, Lebron needed Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade to win two championships in Miami, Kevin Love and Kyrie Irving in Cleveland and Anthony Davis to win the Disney Bubble Championship.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: The Brooklyn Nets will win the NBA Championship.
