North Caldwell resident Jeff Haza and his family run a hand car-wash business in Bloomfield that offers all levels of car washes and auto details. Haza has owned his business for 10 years, with his favorite part being his own boss, as he was able to maintain a flexible schedule, and spend time with his two daughters, Abby and Katie, who both attend West Essex. Haza expresses that the most important and unique part of his business is the fact that he can provide customers with a quality product at such a reasonable price. During these times, continued loyalty from regular customers would be Haza’s biggest help!

How long have you had your business and what is your favorite part about it? I have owned my business for 10 years now. My favorite part is being my own boss which provides me with lots of freedoms. For example, with a flexible schedule, I was able to spend time with my daughters, Abby and Katie over the last 10 years.

How would you describe owning your own business? Any problems that arise are yours and yours alone. I have learned to be a better problem solver.
