Lifetime North Caldwell resident Andrew Rich founded Quikteks in 2001 with his business partner and Quikteks vice president, Nick Tamarro. Priding themselves off of their “legendary customer service” for almost 20 years, Quikteks has provided IT services for small businesses and municipalities such as local police departments and school districts. Despite not being able to have as many onsite meetings, Quikteks remains busy as life has moved online. They have been doing all they can to make the transition to online life as smooth as possible including continuing to install hardware when it is safe which has increased in frequency in the past week.
What’s your favorite part about running the business? My favorite part of running the business is the freedom and flexibility to make decisions. I don’t have any partners. I am the sole proprietor so I get to run the business and do the things that I think make the most sense to help it grow and be successful.
What makes your business unique as opposed to others? We are a customer service driven business and all of my staff and all my employees have what we refer to as legendary customer service. It is a top-to-bottom approach from the sales process all the way down to the entry-level help desk guy. Everyone has to support the concept and notion that the reason our customers stay with us and the reason we get the referrals we get is because we deliver legendary customer service.
