Jamie Lee Cataldi
If you haven’t already heard of her, the following questions will be exposing Jamie Lee Cataldi, a sophomore here at West Essex. She prefers to write about Arts & Culture and likes to do opinion pieces and even runs a podcast with some of her journalism peers.
Q: What is the best song to bump to?
A: Anything that gets me hype, really. No specifics at the moment.
Q: Why did you choose to wear that today?
A: Well, glad you ask actually, I’m wearing this because its neon and neon is vibrant and I’m a vibrant person.
Q: Cake or ice cream?
A: Ice cream, 100 percent. Preferably Ben and Jerry’s.
Q: Would you rather have a lot of homework and no tests to study for, or a lot of tests to study for and no homework?
A: A lot of tests to study for and no homework, cuz then I have more free time.
Q: How many people do you like in this school?
A: Not too many, but a fair amount.
Q: What is your aesthetic?
A: I don’t really have one, people like to say I dress like a Jersey mom though.
Q: If you could meet anyone, who would it be?
A: I have absolutely no idea.
Q: Would you rather live alone forever or live with someone you hate forever?
A: Live alone forever, 100 percent. If I hate someone, I am not able to look at them for longer than 10 seconds.
Q: What do you want for Christmas?
A: I want a speaker or something music-related. And stuff for my room. Nothing too complex.
Q: What is your favorite saying?
A: I mean, I don’t have a specific saying I live by but I do believe everything happens for a reason. I also believe everyone has their own set life path, so like, if something bad happens it happens for a reason.
Q: Do you believe in karma?
A: I do but in the sense that if you know you’re doing something bad, then it will slap you in the face later. If you believe that what you are doing is right, I don’t really think karma will do its thing to you. Kinda like how the worst criminals get away with the worst things.
Q: What are your pet peeves?
A: I absolutely despise slow walkers and when people fish for compliments. Attention seekers in general basically. I also hate when people lie to me, because its like, I already know you’re lying so don’t waste my time trying to convince me otherwise.
Q: What is something you want everyone to know about you?
A: I guess I want them to know that I don’t take crap from anyone.
Q: If you had the chance to grow a couple inches taller, would you?
A: Nope I like my height. I feel like it’s not too short not too tall but I’m definitely more on the short side.
Q: What music do you listen to?
A: Mostly hard rock and rap and hip hop or r&b, but the songs I like vary from a lot of different genres. I don’t really like pop though unless it’s from the early 2000s. Like you know, Britney Spears and stuff like that.
